Phoneticom delivers RemoteTTS to the Swedish Road Administration to speech enable the Swedish driver’s licence test. The concept gives people with dyslexia a fair chance to pass the exam in the same conditions as everyone else.
The Swedish Road Administration offers this service for all kind of driver license authorization. You don’t need to apply for it and it’s available to everyone. The aim is to bring down the number of persons doing the test verbally, although it still will be possible.
The service is called RemoteTTS and is a version of ReadSpeaker. It can be used in various applications and adaptations.
